Zara logo eps - Zara is a brand originating from Spain and headquartered in Arteixo, Gallicia. Zara was founded in 1975 by Armancio Ortega and Rosallia mera. Zara itself is the flagship store from Inditex, which also has several other well-known brands such as: Massimo Dutti, Pull and Bear, Oysho, Uterqüe, Stradivarius and Bershka.
Zara itself only takes approximately 2 weeks to develop its new products and launches around 10,000 new designs every year. Armancio ortega first opened the Zara Store on a main street in downtown A Coruña, Galicia, Spain. The shop turned out to be quite successful, so Armancio opened several more stores in Spain. During the 1980s, Ortega began changing its design,
manufacturing and distribution processes to reduce lead times and react to new trends in a faster way, in what he called "instant fashion". In 1980, the company started to expand internationally through Porto, Portugal. In 1989 they entered the United States and France in 1990.
